This broad-based Marketing programme, professionally accredited by the Chartered Institute for Marketing (CIM) is focused on preparing you Chartered Institute for Marketing Graduate Gateway blue and grey logoto become a fully-skilled modern marketing professional ready for the workplace. The degree includes specialist modules that provide practical skills in areas such as digital marketing, branding, public relations, marketing strategy, consumer behaviour and global marketing.

This degree offers the opportunity to take a Placement Year – a year of paid real-world employment within industry which will build your skills and experience and enhance your employability.

We will support you to achieve your career and study ambitions, which is why if you complete our Employability Plus Gold programme or Changemaker Gold certificate alongside your studies and if you haven’t secured full-time employment 12 months after graduating* we will secure a three – six month paid internship for you, or support you into postgraduate study.

Optional Work Placement Year

You are encouraged to undertake a year-long placement in between Stages Two and Three of study. If you meet the entry criteria, and choose to take up a placement year you will find it an invaluable experience that helps you to apply your learning in your final year and prepares you for your career. Whilst on your Optional Work Placement Year you will study a 40 credit module ‘The Placement Year Experience – Organisations in Context’. We offer a lot of support in helping you to find a placement, which can be in the UK or overseas.

Foundation Study Framework Entry Requirements

Admission to this foundation course is normally DEE at A Level or MPP at BTEC. However, we would also like to hear from you if you have professional or industry experience instead, a range of other qualifications or self-developed subject knowledge that relates to the course you wish to study.

Full Time: £9,250
Part Time: £1,450 per 20 credit module
Foundation Framework: £6,750 as part of a four year programme (subsequent years will be charged at standard BSc rate).
Optional Work Placement Year: £950

Additional costs

The New York study trip is optional and the cost in previous years has not exceeded £1000 for flights and accommodation. Students normally allow an additional £200 for their expenses.
