Join us for a Waterside campus tour
Attending a campus tour is a great way to see our facilities and get a feel for what it’s like to study at UON.
Campus tours run weekly on Wednesday, as well the occasional Saturday. Please note dates for booking are released on a biweekly rolling basis.
Tours take approximately 1 hour and spaces are limited due to safety measures. Information about our safety procedures and how to get to our campus will be sent to you in your booking confirmation.
Campus tours are not full open days. Visit our open day page for upcoming dates and more information.
We have put procedures in place to ensure you have a safe and enjoyable tour. We kindly ask for your cooperation in following these measures. Find out more information by downloading our safety leaflet.
Following Government updates and to maintain safety for all visitors and staff on our campus, we are asking you and any accompanying guests complete a lateral flow test within 48 hours of attending your campus tour. Please do not attend if you are feeling unwell or are showing any COVID-19 symptoms.
We kindly ask that you wear face coverings inside our University buildings and use the hand sanitiser stations across campus. We are not restricting guests but ask that where possible, you keep your group size to a minimum.
You may also wish to take a look at our Situation Updates pages on our website for further information on the steps we have taken to respond to COVID-19.
We endeavour to make all our events completely accessible. However, if you have any specific needs or require additional facilities, please inform us on 01604 892568 or firstname.lastname@example.org so we can ensure your visit is as easy as possible.
What can I expect from a campus tour?
A campus tour is a fantastic opportunity to really get to grips with what life at the University of Northampton is like. As well as showing you our purpose built campus, we want to make sure your course queries are covered. Where possible we will try to arrange for an ambassador studying your subject of interest to lead your tour.
So that we can do our best to arrange this, make sure you tell us what you would like to study when you book. You can browse our courses on our website. If we can’t arrange a subject specific tour guide, we will offer to arrange for someone from the course to contact you at a time to suit.
If you would like to speak to a member of our student services team or a course academic during your visit, please email email@example.com to discuss further. In some instances where face to face meetings aren’t possible during the tour, follow up phone calls will be arranged so we can ensure all your questions are answered.
We have a show room of our large en-suite Waterside accommodation on site. During your campus tour, you will have the chance to see these in person. You can also see our full range of accommodation on our virtual 360 tour.
Can’t travel to campus?
If you cannot come onto the campus to visit us, try our Virtual Tour. This will give you the opportunity to explore our campus, facilities and accommodation from the comfort of your own home.
