Psychology and Criminology Joint Honours<p>This popular and well-established programme invites students to combine the understanding of human behaviour, development, thoughts and emotions from Psychology and develop this within the context of the study of crime, social order and social control that is central to the study of Criminology.</p><p>This joint honours programme is accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS)* and can be the first step towards becoming a Chartered Psychologist. </p><p>Through the application of theoretical understanding and practical experience this course aims to debate and resolve questions such as: </p><ul><li><p>What is crime and what drives people to commit crime? </p></li><li><p>How laws are enforced and how does this affect behaviour? </p></li><li><p>Why is crime concentrated in particular areas?
