This Foundation Degree offers a unique opportunity to plan, create and grow a business alongside academic study. Attention is focused on the dynamic and visionary approach to business created by entrepreneurs, and students are encouraged to explore for themselves their own entrepreneurial skills.
The programme is designed to support you in starting your own business, growing an existing business or perhaps developing a new business venture within your employer’s organisation.

Entry Requirements
A typical offer would be DEE at A Level or MPP at BTEC. If you do not have standard qualifications but have relevant work experience you are encouraged to apply for this course.

All International and EU students applying for a course with us must meet the following minimum English language requirements:
- IELTS 6.0 (or equivalent) with a minimum of 5.5 in all bands
for study at undergraduate level

Special Features
- you should expect to spend one-third of your time developing business ideas outside of the classroom, this can be in part-time work or developing a brand new business
- the remaining two-thirds will be spent on acquiring key business knowledge including entrepreneurial skills, growing a business, marketing, finances and customer care
- the FdA in Business Entrepreneurship is a nationally recognised qualification and successful students will have the opportunity to top-up for one additional year to gain the full BA (Hons) Business Entrepreneurship
Our Enterprise Club is an on-site facility where you can meet and network with business people and entrepreneurs, attend short courses (many for free) and link up with fellow students. You are also encouraged to take part in any number of additional on-site business opportunities, networks and companies; these include pop-up markets, consultancy projects, placements, internships and student mentoring.
