We understand students have a limited budget so Endsleigh have launched brand new, unique student insurance options. They have been designed to cover the risks that you may encounter whilst living in student accommodation and away from home.

Mains powered TV

You will need to bring a television with you if you want to watch TV as the rooms do not have TVs.

If you watch TV or stream live programmes on your computer or other devices or if you download or watch any BBC progammes on iPlayer – live, catch up or on demand, you will need to purchase a TV licence. Please see our TV Licensing Information page for further details.

Postal Address

Make sure you have circulated your new postal address to your friends and family.

Network and WiFi access

This is available in all of our Halls of Residence.

Medical

We advise that you register with a local doctors surgery.

On the day of your arrival you will need to register with the on-campus doctors surgery. We also advise that you register with a local dentist.

Toiletries

Bring the essentials that you need with you and then you can buy the rest on arrival.

Clothing

We provide a wardrobe in each room for clothes storage, you will need to bring your own coat hangers with you.

Bedding

You will need to bring a quilt, bed sheets and pillows.

If you are an international student, a bedding pack will be provided for you (the charge for this will be deducted from your Key and Damage deposit)

Kitchen equipment

‘We provide a small amount storage for your kitchen equipment. You will need to bring your own cooking/eating utensils with you.

Please note:

• We do not permit the use of deep fat fryers or pressure cookers in kitchens.
• You cannot use cooking devices inside your bedrooms.
• All equipment must be PAT tested and have UK plugs (we cant allow use of international plug adaptors).’

Food

Only bring limited food with you on your first day, there are plenty of opportunities to go shopping within the first few days of being on campus and there are a number of large supermarkets in Northampton and the surrounding areas.
