Overview
This module prepares practitioners for working within public health settings, through developing critical awareness and problem solving skills, to address inequalities / inequities or gaps affecting health needs for individuals, communities and populations and design an appropriate intervention to empower a target population to improve their health and wellbeing.
Highlights
- Complete as a standalone module (NURM133) or as part of the Postgraduate Diploma in Specialist Public Health Nursing.
- Module is delivered with 6 face to face teaching days and tutorial support.

Entry Requirements
- An honours degree at 2:2 or higher (or international equivalent).
- English Language: IELTS 6.5 overall, with a minimum of 6.0 in writing and 5.5 in each other band (see our IELTS page)
