Overview

This module will provide students who have completed the Initial Teacher Training mentoring programme or other recognised mentoring programmes, opportunities to critically reflect on mentoring and associated skills when supporting and developing others.

Course Content

  • This Level 7, 30 credit module enables those who have completed Initial Teacher Training mentor training to reflect on the skills associated with mentoring trainee teachers and use evidence to evaluate approaches to mentoring and supporting others. You will critically reflect on self-development and mentoring performance. This module offers flexibility in learning as students join online to fit around busy lifestyles. This module can be taken as a standalone or part of the MA Education.

    Please note the modules shown here relate to the academic year 24/25. The modules relating to the academic year 25/26 will be available from June 2025.
