International Orientation Programme
The International Orientation Programme is the perfect way to introduce you to life in Northampton and the UK. Your welcome and induction to the University of Northampton is an essential part of your student journey. It is our chance to introduce you to the University community, get to know you and get your studies off to the best possible start.
The Immigration Compliance Services team have put together the orientation programme with the needs of International and EU students in mind. It is a great opportunity to meet other new students and discover the services and support available at the University.
In addition to the live sessions, we do also recommend that you watch the pre-recorded introductory videos from teams across the University. To help you get familiar with the services that the Immigration Compliance Services Team offers, we have created a self-learning programme for new international and EU students. The programme takes approximately 45 minutes to complete. We recommend that you complete the programme in your own time during the International Orientation Week.
As well as the social orientation activities, please make sure you engage with your course welcome pack. This will provide you with lots of essential information about starting your studies including a welcome from your programme team, details of your academic contact (programme leader), and useful lists and resources.
We do hope you enjoy your first few weeks with us and we hope the international orientation programme gives you the best start to your time with us.
