Public and Professional Healthcare

Public and Professional Healthcare

Our healthcare programmes promote advanced knowledge of public and professional health in areas of Occupational Therapy, Podiatry, Paramedic Science, Health Study, Health Sciences and Professional Practice.

Our Paramedic Science, Podiatry, and Occupational Therapy programmes equip you with the knowledge and skills that you will require for professional practice through combining the theoretical study with hands-on learning in the University’s specialist labs and practical settings across public, private and independent sectors.

Health Study and Health Sciences programmes are designed to broaden your knowledge in areas of interdisciplinary health, illness and wellbeing. Our Professional Practice top-up programme, with wide range of specialist pathways, is designed for healthcare workers who wish to update their professional practice skills whilst working towards a recognised degree level qualification.

At the University of Northampton, we offer a range of short courses and continuing professional development (CPD) programmes in nursing and health. These will enable health professionals to learn new skills, progress into specialisms or take on new responsibilities.
