3 Reasons to Love Living in Northampton

Best of Both Worlds

Northampton is the perfect combination of bustling urban life and peaceful countryside. There are plenty of green spaces to explore just outside of the town such as Sywell Country Park, Coton Manor Gardens, and Haddonstone Show Gardens, and stunning landscapes for walks and days outside.

Watch our student Nathan take a tour around Pitsford Water, their favourite place to visit in Northamptonshire.

Centre of Everything

You’ll be studying at the centre of the heart of England meaning it’s easy to hop on a train, bus, car, or plane home to get your washing done or catch up with friends.

Northampton Railway Station offers direct services to London Euston and Birmingham New Street, both of which are only an hour away.

When you arrive in Northampton you can choose the short walk to campus or you could hop on to our UNO bus which has a stop, directly outside the railway station.

We’re also close to Coventry (approx. 32 minutes), Rugby (approx. 22 minutes), and Milton Keynes (approx. 16 minutes).

Home Grown

You’ll find a town bursting with independent gig venues, theatres, cinemas, bars, shops, and cafes that you won’t find anywhere else – all sat alongside staple high-street brands. There are numerous sport venues and teams, a variety of museums, plus Historical sites across the county. There’s plenty to do for whatever mood you’re in.
