Creative Film, Television and Digital Media Production BA Welcome Pack
Welcome to Creative Film, Television and Digital Media Production BA – September 2026.
Welcome to Creative Film, Television and Digital Media Production BA (Hons)!
Whether your ambition is to direct films, create compelling documentaries, produce live television, or develop digital content that reaches global audiences, you’ve chosen a course where you’ll learn by doing from day one.
Throughout your time with us, you’ll work on exciting practical projects that mirror the fast-paced world of the creative industries. You’ll build your skills across directing, scriptwriting, camera operation, editing, sound design and studio production, while exploring different storytelling techniques across film, television and digital media. Working alongside fellow creatives, you’ll have opportunities to collaborate on live client projects, helping you gain valuable industry experience and develop a professional portfolio that showcases your skillsets.
Our teaching combines hands-on workshops, creative production sessions and industry-informed guidance from experienced staff who are passionate about helping you realise your potential. As you progress through the course, you’ll have the chance to undertake work experience, produce ambitious major projects and develop the confidence to pursue a career in the creative industries with established networks.
In your final year, you’ll take your next steps towards employment through our Working in the Creative Industries module, where you can explore freelance working, social enterprise or launching your own creative business. By the time you graduate, you’ll leave not only with a degree but will have enhanced practical abilities underpinned by a critical theoretical understanding with a professional network and portfolio needed to make your mark in the creative media sector.
We can’t wait to welcome you to our creative community and see the stories you’ll tell. Industry ready – future focussed!
