Qualifications we need to see

Once you accept an offer to study with us, there may be some certificates we need to see before the start of your programme.

If you are studying either BA Primary Education, PGCE or School Direct, we must see your original certificates.  For all other programmes, legible copies or scans of certificates are sufficient.

If you fail to provide the required certificates, you will not be eligible to enrol.

  • Level 3 certificates we must see

    If you have already passed any of the following qualifications at the point of application, you must upload copies to your applicant portal. Please ensure that the scan shows your full certificate. Provisional statement of results will not be accepted.

    Statement of results will not be accepted.

    Sending your certificates

    We recommend that you send original certificates by recorded delivery and include an addressed envelope, pre-paid for recorded delivery for their return.

    Alternatively, you can present your original certificates in person to Admissions on Wednesdays 9am – 3pm at the Student Information Desk in the Learning Hub, Waterside Campus.

Please note: If the name on your certificate is different from the name you applied in, you will need to provide evidence of your name change (for example, a marriage certificate/deed poll etc).

If you have lost your certificates it is advisable to request replacement certificates as soon as possible from the examination board.

If you fail to provide your documents you will not be eligible to enrol, so please upload them as soon as possible.
