Graduation attire for students graduating with a Doctor of Philosophy PhD:
- Gown: Red robe of Cambridge doctors [d1] pattern, with facings and sleeve linings of peacock blue
- Hood: Cambridge [f1] shape, in red, lined and the cape bound 1 inch peacock blue. The neckband is faced peacock blue
- Hat: Black cloth bonnet with blue cords and tassels

Graduation attire for students graduating with a Taught or Professional Doctorate, including; DBA and Doc Prof Prac:
- Gown: Red robe of Cambridge doctors [d1] pattern, with facings and sleeve linings of peacock blue
- Hood: Cambridge [f1] shape, in red, lined and the cape bound 1 inch peacock blue. The neckband is faced peacock blue. The inside of the cowl is bordered 1 inch jade green
- Hat: Black cloth bonnet with blue cords and tassels

- Gown: Black stuff gown of Cambridge MA [m2] pattern, with facings of peacock blue
- Hood: Cambridge [f1] shape, in red, lined peacock blue
- Hat: Black cloth square cap with a black tassel

Graduation attire for students graduating with a Postgraduate Diploma (Research Methods) PGDip Res:
- Gown: Black stuff gown of Cambridge MA [m2] pattern
- Hood: Cambridge [f1] shape, in red lined peacock blue. The inside of the cowl is bordered 1 inch jade green.
- Hat: Black cloth square cap with a black tassel

Graduation attire for Honorary Doctorates:
- Gown: Red robe of Cambridge doctors [d1] pattern, with facings and sleeve linings of peacock blue. The facings are edged 1 and 1/2 inch gold oak leaf braid, and the sleeves are held with a gold cord and button
- Hood: Cambridge [f1] shape, in red, lined peacock blue, the neckband is faced peacock blue. The outside of the cape is bordered 1 and 1/2 inch gold oak leaf braid
- Hat: Black cloth bonnet with blue cords and tassels
