Help with private sector student accommodation in Northampton
We can advise you on how to find suitable private rental properties for University of Northampton students.
You can contact private.sector@northampton.ac.uk or speak to the team at Student Village Reception for advice and support.
If you rent privately, there may be extra costs on top of your rent. These can include utilities (such as water and electricity), council tax, and car parking.
Before signing any agreements, make sure you read all housing advice carefully and understand what you are agreeing to. You can also make use our the drop in sessions from our Citizens Advice team – these run every Tuesday on the ground floor of the Learning Hub.
The University is able to provide references to landlords for students who have previously resided in University-managed accommodation, for more information please contact the accommodation team.
There is a small provision of Nursing accommodation at Northampton General Hospital, that is owned and managed by the Hospital. For further information, please contact the Accommodation Office on 01604 545455.
