With the rise of globalisation, business operates across borders and continents, with English as the common language of commerce. This course will help you to gain the skills and knowledge you need to understand and work in this field. We offer in-depth study of global business development, marketing and tourism, in addition to modules that improve your English language skills in a business context.

Methods of Learning
For this course you can expect taught study to be a combination of lectures, seminars and workshops, usually consisting of 12 hours per week over a total of 24 weeks (divided into three teaching blocks). We recommend that you spend 28 hours per week in self-directed study time.
Course Details
This course features two compulsory modules that will give you a strong foundation in English skills related to business. In Advanced English Skills for Business you will be introduced to a range of topics, including Human Resources, Governance and e-marketing which you will be able to pursue in more depth depending on your choice of optional modules. Business communication focuses on the ways in which communication and interaction within business in different countries is influenced by a variety of cultural approaches, attitudes and expectations.

Entry Requirements
Edexcel / SQA, HND, a relevant Foundation Degree, Advanced Diploma, Chinese Dazhuan Diploma.
This course can only consider International Students whose first language is not English.

Full Time: £9,250
Part Time: £1,400 per 20 credit module
2018/19 Tuition Fees
Fees quoted relate to study in the Academic Year 18/19 only and may be subject to inflationary increases in future years.
Full Time: £9,000
Part Time: £1,350 per 20 credit module
