The University of Northampton Schools Engagement Team works with never ending determination to develop and offer a range of widening access opportunities for schools in Northamptonshire. Working with our partner SPARK (Primary) schools and partner Secondary schools, the team work alongside partners to support young people’s aspirations, offer opportunities to develop skills, raise attainment and inspire young people to consider different options for their future.

The Schools Engagement team comprises of the Widening Access and Aspire Higher (Uni connect) offer to Northamptonshire schools. Both of these offer targeted opportunities, working with selected partner schools, based upon deprivation data (IMD – Indices of Multiple Deprivation). Our aim is to encourage children and young people to consider their future options and the benefits of a post 18 education, be this through university or an alternative provider.
