Alumni postgraduate study

If you’re a current student at the University of Northampton, now is a good time to be thinking about your future.

Master’s study can open up a whole new world of opportunity. Expanding your basic skills, enhancing your knowledge and greatly improving your career prospects.

Master’s courses

We offer both full-time and part-time courses, with some options for distance learning. If you’re studying full-time, your course will usually be shorter than an undergraduate course. On average, these take a year to complete. With Distance Learning courses, the course duration might be slightly longer.

Our most popular master’s courses include Business, HR and Finance, Education, Health and Law, Social and Welfare. However, with a wide variety of courses available, you are sure to find the one for you.

Get a 20% graduate discount

Postgraduate study may be more affordable than you first thought. Graduates from eligible courses get a 20% graduate discount on our master’s courses.

Additionally, you may be eligible for funding from Student Finance UK – the provider of the undergraduate student loan.

The Postgraduate Master’s Loan can lend up to £12,167 for students in all subject areas starting a master’s after 2023, if you are under 60 and a UK National living in England. Unlike the undergraduate loan, the Postgraduate Master’s Loan is paid directly to you – so keeping an eye on course prices is a sensible way to ensure you have extra funds to support your studies.
