Our Town

The town centre is only a stone’s throw away with plenty of things on offer

Head to the famous Royal & Derngate on Friday nights for the Comedy Club, or choose from the best in world cinema at the Northampton Filmhouse. You can even catch a film under the stars at Highgate House just outside of town or down at Sol Central – home to a cinema, trampoline park, bowling and more.

Sometimes you just need a moment. Grab a coffee, then cross the footbridge to wander through Becket’s Park and find a spot along the riverbank to relax. If the weather isn’t playing ball, then head to one of our many independent coffee shops or restaurants such as Yellow Bourbon or Zapato Lounge – A great place on the Market Square in our town centre to meet friends for drinks, brunch or tapas.

If you’re after something more lively, then Playhouse is another great choice and popular with our societies. Choose from a variety of instagram-worthy cocktails whilst playing retro arcade games with your friends. This doesn’t need to be the end of your night though, we also have an array of clubs and pubs to keep you dancing into the early hours.
