We are recruiting for our University of Northampton Student Influencer scheme so we can share authentic student experiences at UON through creating trending TikToks and Instagram Reels or writing blog posts. This is your chance to get creative, connect with our online audiences, and build your personal brand along the way!
Why become a student influencer?
Becoming a student influencer is your chance to share your UON experience, get creative, and make your voice heard. You’ll work with our Marketing and Student Recruitment Team to create authentic content that inspires future students, while building skills, meeting new people, and growing your personal brand. It’s a fun, rewarding way to make a real impact and boost your CV.

Not sure what to expect?
We’ll give you the topics — or you can pitch your own. You’ll create content throughout the year and be paid for your time. But that’s not all as we could ask you to join photoshoots, and get stuck into other fun promotional activities with our Team.

We’ve had a high volume of applications for our Student Influencer roles and have closed applications for 25/26.
You can register your interest in future recruitment opportunities by emailing brand@northampton.ac.uk and they’ll be in touch once applications reopen.
You will need to sign up to Unitemps which is our recruitment provider located within Student Futures. You will need to visit them before you complete any work as they will create an account for you. You will be paid after each content assignment has been completed and approved.
As many as you would like! You can commit to a few hours a month or consistently create content for us. We work on a content assignment basis, with the opportunity to pitch ideas! Some students prefer to complete content on a regular basis, some prefer to create content every few months. We can work flexibly around your studies!
We welcome students from all courses to get involved! The opportunity is open to all students from first to fourth year of study, however if you are in your final year there may be some adjustments that need to be made.
All the content guidelines and expectations are laid out in our student influencer handbook which will be emailed to successful applicants.
No! We will help guide you through the process of editing and filming videos or writing blog content, however prior knowledge or experience is beneficial.
Yes, a member of the team will be there to support you with training, workshops and general student influencer queries during your time as a student influencer.
