Welcome to Specialist Community Public Health Nursing SCPHN MSc 2025.
Welcome to the MSc SCPHN top-up programme which will extend and build on the knowledge gained from your entry qualification (post graduate diploma). The programme consists of two modules over one academic year and uses a variety teaching methods to enable identification of a practice improvement. Equipping students with research knowledge and skills that will support the integration of evidence base into local practice. I hope you find the programme enjoyable. The teaching of the first module NURM110 will begin in October 2025 and the dates will be forwarded to you in due course.
A course induction meeting will take place virtually on Tuesday 23 September. This is an opportunity to meet the programme lead, ask questions and ensure that all students have completed enrolment procedures and have all the information required for a successful start to the programme.
Preparation/ Equipment/ Reading Lists
We recommend all students begin to familiarise themselves with contemporary SCPHN practice and start to think about potential topics for investigation/ improvement.
