Welcome to MSc Public Health

​​We are delighted to welcome you to the MSc Public Health programme at the University of Northampton. With an ever-expanding list of threats to human health, we are rising up to meet the emerging health threats of the present day, while training leaders who will be prepared to tackle both contemporary and unforeseen public health challenges.

This programme prepares students for leadership and equip them to assume an active role and responsibility for improving the population’s health in a range of settings. We place particular emphasis on advancing your critical awareness and problem-solving skills, to develop innovative and pro-active approaches that will meet the complex health needs of the population. All we want is for you to embrace all of the opportunities and support available to you;  be bold, think differently and realise your potential. We want your postgraduate journey with us to be intellectually stretching, rewarding and fun.

Supporting you before you arrive

  • Pre-Induction Meeting

    This meeting will provide you the opportunity to meet with the programme leader and receive answers to any questions you may have relating to your course and enrolment.

    Welcome and Induction

    The first week of teaching is online, to enable those arriving late to join the sessions from their home countries – first session is on the 6 February . From the second week of teaching, all classes are face-to-face. First class on campus is on the 13 February .
