Professional Policing BA Welcome Pack
Welcome to Professional Policing BA 2025.
It is a unique and challenging course that will develop your knowledge and experience of policing in relation to ethical practice, legislation, practical application, risk & vulnerability, and professional academic development.
This is in context of the Criminal Justice System and will providing you with the skills to become reflective, confident practitioners.
The curriculum content is directed from the College of Policing, but the course content, activities, assessment, and blended learning methods are developed by the University and Criminal Justice Team. This includes varied teaching methods with lots of practical activity to underpin the academic learning.

Session: Meet Steve and the Criminal Justice Tutors, find out more about the course, join in with some fun activities and hear from Northants Police Special Constabulary Volunteer Team!

- Room: LH120, Learning Hub
Followed by a Library Quest activity from 3pm onwards.
Thursday 25 September
Session: Business & Law Welcome Fair
Don’t miss the fun of the fair! Music, games, sweet treats and more (including prizes to be won). Join our business and law student and staff community for an afternoon of fun, friendship and first-year festivities. No need to book, just turn up!
