Pre-sessional English Programme (PEP) Welcome pack
Welcome to Pre-sessional English Programme (PEP) 2025
Welcome to your English pre-sessional course. I’m really looking forward to meeting you. This pre-sessional course has been designed to help develop your English language skills and prepare you for study at Northampton.
We believe the best way for you to improve your language skills is through practice and so the lessons are very interactive with lots of opportunities for you to practice using English with both your teacher and classmates.
On the pre-sessional, you will have the opportunity to complete different assignment types (not just essays) and receive valuable feedback from your tutors.
Here is what some previous students have said about completing the pre-sessional:
- “After finishing the course, I felt so proud of myself. It felt like “We did it baby” I achieved it! In the beginning, I was not good at English. I wanted to improve it. I wanted to know more… I want to be a good writer and speaker of English. I like the culture and language, but I have not had much chance to know them in my country. So, I’ve been trying to do this course to improve my English skills. I think the pre-sessional course has given me a strong foundation for improve my English language.”
- “I met many new friends and learned about the teaching and learning that I might encounter when I went to study in Northampton.”
- “Teacher very welling to explain any part we don’t understand.”
