Welcome to MSc International Business Management – January 2024.

In the emerging borderless global economy, do you aspire to a managerial role in business, but have a degree in a non-business subject? Are you looking to enhance previous business studies with a greater knowledge of international business?

Our MSc in International Business Management is designed for people from a diversity of backgrounds, so you won’t need to have specific work or academic experience in business and management.

Our course offers a variety of modules covering a wide range of topics that equip you with the practical skills you need to excel in business management or consultancy: from international logistics and cross-border investments to the cultural and ethical issues involved the practice of international business.

Uniquely, this course offers you the opportunity to learn from the following distinctive modules:

  • Our innovative Business Strategy Simulation module – a highly practical and effective way to learn how to manage a business and apply business strategy concepts, with a focus on innovation and new markets
  • A project Module “Professional Practice in International Business” which will enable you either to act as a consultant of an international project of your choice, or to start a business plan by applying “The Prince’s Trust” pack provided by the government website. You will gain and develop project management, emotional intelligence, decision-making, solving problem, and critical thinking skills.

This MSc programme prepares you to learn how business can adapt to the rapid change and uncertainty of the modern business environment. It develops your cross-cultural skills so as to be flexible and effective in different international markets and contexts.

Our staff and students come from all over the world with a variety of backgrounds and cultures, making this MSc a genuinely international programme. It provides you with an opportunity to gain expertise and professional practice in business disciplines without in anyway limiting your employment options.

Welcome and Induction Sessions

To welcome you our MSc IBM degree, we would like to invite you to join in with couple of our online and face to face welcome and induction sessions. The online event will allow you to get to know the academic staff, as well as meet other new MSc IBM students. Please read the below accordion for more information:

Enhancing skills, building networks and engaging in the wider University community

  • UK cities visits:

An enjoyable free trip will be arranged to all the MSc IBM students to visit one of the interesting places such as Cambridge, or Oxford etc.

  • Guest speakers:

Experienced guest speakers and consultants in relevant areas of the MSc IBM programme will be invited to deliver talks and interactive seminars.

  • Social Events:

MSc IBM students will enjoy social events where free Food and drink will be provided and some employability skills’ activities will be run during the events. You will have the opportunities to meet local, civic, charity and business leaders.

  • Company visits are arranged
