International Accounting (Top-Up) BSc Welcome Pack
Welcome to BSc International Accounting (Top-Up) – September 2026.
Welcome to Northampton and welcome to BSc International Accounting (Top Up) degree. By enrolling in the one-year BSc International Accounting Top-Up degree, students will deepen their understanding of core accounting principles and develop the skills to apply them to real-world situations, offering professional financial advice.
This is a one-year degree, you will take 6 modules. In Semester 1: Corporate Financial Management, International Tax Systems and International Financial Reporting and Analysis.
In Semester 2 you will take three more modules which are also studied by students on other accounting and finance programmes, International Money and Finance, Corporate Governance and the Project.
The programme is taught by lecturers with extensive experience in both industry and academia, providing students with the guidance and support needed to advance their accounting knowledge and pursue a successful career in finance-related fields.

Session: Welcome to the School of Accounting, Analytics and Finance
An opportunity to meet fellow new students and staff in the school of Accounting, Analytics and Finance, receive a warm welcome plus an introduction to key central support teams to help you get the best from your university journey and equip you for success!

Thursday 24 September
Session: Programme Welcome Session
In this session, you will meet your Programme Lead and have plenty of opportunities to ask questions as you begin your journey with us. You will be introduced to the modules you will be studying and have the chance to meet some of your lecturers. You will also enjoy a brief chat with your Personal Academic Tutor (PAT), who will explain how they can support you throughout your studies and the different ways you can get in touch whenever you need guidance or advice.

Session: The Faculty Welcome Experience!
This is how we love to kick things off in the Faculty of Business Law! This fun and friendly social event brings music, unique games, party food and more to our new student and staff community. Hosted by the faculty Student Experience Assistant Team (SEAT), this is a great opportunity to connect and mix with peers and tutors from Business, Management, Analytics, Marketing, Hospitality, Law, Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Criminology, Criminal Justice & Policing course communities.
