Welcome to BA Hospitality Management 2025.
BA (Hons) Hospitality Management at UON offers an exciting and practical route into one of the world’s most dynamic and people-focused industries. Designed to develop the leaders of tomorrow, our course combines academic knowledge with hands-on experience, preparing you for a wide range of hospitality careers across hotels, events, tourism, food and beverage, and customer service sectors.
At UON, employability is at the heart of everything we do. You’ll explore operational and strategic management, customer experience design, marketing, finance, and international trends, guided by a supportive and experienced teaching team with extensive industry backgrounds. You’ll explore issues and challenges through research, analysis and application, connecting knowledge with practice to generate insights, innovate, and make the world a better place.

Enhancing skills, building networks and engaging in the wider University community
Industry engagement is a big part of what makes the BA Hospitality Management course at UON so exciting and valuable. From day one, you’ll work on real-world projects and challenges set by leading organisations across the hospitality sector. You’ll gain hands-on experience through live briefs, site visits, guest talks, and team projects that help you apply what you learn in class to real situations.
We’re proud to partner with organisations like Silverstone, Delapré Abbey, Hilton, Northampton Museum and Art Gallery, Canal & River Trust, The Power of Events, McManus Pubs, and Go Beyond Sport amongst many others. These partnerships open up brilliant opportunities for you to get involved in volunteering, paid work, and professional networking, often leading to valuable experience for your CV and future career.
Alongside this, you’ll build your employability skills within your modules, take part in workshops and events with the Student Futures team, and develop your professional network. From the very start of your degree, you’ll be supported to grow your confidence, connections, and career prospects – ready to make your mark in the hospitality, events and tourism industry.
