Business Analytics MSc Welcome Pack

Welcome to MSc Business Analytics – September 2026.

Welcome to MSc Business Analytics at the University of Northampton. We are delighted that you are joining a dynamic postgraduate community focused on turning data into insight and insight into better business decisions. Across your studies, you will explore analytics in a practical business context, including data science tools and techniques, data visualisation for decision science, forecasting, emerging technologies, digital transformation, systems analysis and project management.

Our priority is to help you feel confident, connected and ready to succeed from the start. You will study through participative, interactive learning activities, supported by UON’s Active Blended Learning approach and by academic, library, learning development, student support and careers teams. You will also build your professional confidence through applied cases, guest inputs where available, peer networking and project-based work.

Welcome Week is designed to help you settle into the University, meet your course team and programme peers, understand key systems such as NILE, timetables and attendance, and prepare for postgraduate assessment expectations. Please take part in as many Welcome Week activities as possible, especially the course-specific sessions and the Faculty Welcome Experience, as these will help you build the social and academic connections that support success at UON.
