This unique opportunity will comprise of 8 Student Heroes will become recognisable across Northamptonshire and beyond — representing the University of Northampton and everything we stand for.

As a Student Hero, you’ll take part in exciting activities that help you grow personally and professionally — developing confidence, creativity and a stand-out CV along the way.
You could be:
- Front and centre in photo shoots that showcase real UON students across our website, social media, and campaigns – gaining confidence on camera and real experience in professional media.
- Recording radio ads and shaping how UON’s story is told, developing communication and presentation skills.
- Welcoming visitors at Open Days and recruitment events, sharing your story and helping others see themselves at UON.
- Representing UON off-campus at schools, fairs and community events – inspiring others while building teamwork and networking experience.
- Creating and sharing vlogs that show what life at UON is really like, building your personal brand and storytelling skills.
