The University hosted its annual Teachers and Advisers Conference on 1st May 2019, held for the first time at the new Waterside campus.

50 college and high school staff members from across the region visited for a full-day of talks and activities. They gained expert advice about how to demystify the higher education application system to their students.

Lecturers outlined how to make successful applications for health courses, degree apprenticeships, student finance options and what influences a decision to accept an application.

The Deans from each of the University’s four Faculties were on-hand to explain their subject areas and the day included a look around the facilities at Waterside that their students might use one day.

Several delegates attend the Conference each year, with this event marking their first visit to the University’s new home.

If you want to catch-up with any of the materials provided on the day, email: schools.liaison@northampton.ac.uk.

The date for our 2020 Annual Teachers and Advisers Conference will be announced soon.
