New scholarships created to support University of Northampton students

Date 9.08.2018

University of Northampton has opened two new scholarship funds to support students who are members of the Air Cadets or who live in Northampton.

The Sir Thomas White Charity Grant Fund totals £1,000 and is awarded to support the education of young people in the town. It can be used to fund tuition fees for the three years of a typical undergraduate qualification.

The second scholarship is awarded by the University of Northampton and the RAF Air Cadets Development Trust.

There are five scholarships worth £2,000 each and are on offer to any first year students at the University who are members of the RAF Air Cadets and are taking a course that lasts for at least two years.

Applications are now open and the deadline for submissions for both is 31 August.

For the Sir Thomas Whyte Charity Grant Fund, see the University’s website for details and download the application form.
