Two of our students featured in the same edition of BBC Look East, on Wednesday. Student nurse, Hannah Shaw, has been vlogging about her time supporting NHS staff at a hospital in Milton Keynes (starts 12m). Louise Dowson, who studies Special Educational Needs & Inclusion, was chatting with fellow students about uni life during the lockdown (starts 14m 45s).

Dr Declan Ryan appeared on BBC Radio Northampton, on Wednesday, to talk about going car-lite after lockdown, by cycling and walking more (starts 1h 50m).

Our Visiting Professor, Dr Steve O’Brien, was back on BBC Radio Northampton this week, unpicking the latest directives coming out of Number 10 (clips at 1h 11m; 1h 44m; 2h 12m and 2h 55m). Steve has also blogged on the subject.

Westminster expert, Kate Ironside, was also examining the Prime Minister’s announcement about the easing of lockdown measures, when she appeared on BBC Radio Northampton, on Monday (starts 2h 12m).

Kate was also on BBC 3 Counties Radio, on Monday, talking about the same subject (starts 1h 6m).

Strategic Management expert, Dr Mils Hills, spoke to BBC Radio Northampton’s Annabel Amos, on Monday. He explained the difficulties the Prime Minister faces as he attempts to get the country running again (starts 2h 12m).

Liam Fassam, our expert in supply chains, provided an opinion piece on food fraud for Supply Management. He was also quoted on the subject in The Grocer.

Operations Engineer carried the news of our new engineering award in memory of one of our graduates.
