Hunan University delegates visit the University of Northampton for the first time

The University of Northampton hosted visitors from Hunan University, a leading Higher Education institute in China. The visit was the first time that delegates from Hunan University have visited the UK.

Mr Yijia Cao, Vice President of Hunan University, along with three colleagues visited the University of Northampton, to tour the facilities and meet with leading academics from Northampton Business School. This exploratory visit investigated how the two universities can develop a joint international Enterprise and Entrepreneurship programme.

Thomas Zhang, Assistant Director, Marketing and international relations said: “The University of Northampton was pleased to welcome delegates from Hunan University. As the leading University for Social Enterprise, the University has lots of best practice to share with our colleagues in China. I hope that the two universities can work together in the future to develop leading education in the area of Entrepreneurship.

The University of Northampton and Hunan University enjoy a close partnership, which sees a number of second year accounting and finance students join the Northampton Business School as part of their final year studies.
