Sport is changing fast — and so are the careers behind it.
This session explores how modern sport combines science, psychology, health and technology to support performance and wellbeing in new and emerging ways. You will gain an insight into undergraduate degrees including Esports, Physical Education, Sports Coaching, Sports Rehabilitation and Conditioning, Sports Psychology, and Sport and Exercise Science. We will look at what studying sport at university really involves, the skills you’ll develop, and the careers these courses can lead to — including roles in esports performance support, athlete wellbeing and mental health, data-driven coaching and performance analysis, rehabilitation and return-to-play, community and public health, and applied sport science in professional and high-performance environments.
This talk is ideal for anyone who is passionate about sport, health or performance and want to understand how their interests can translate into meaningful, future-focused careers — including roles they may not even realise exist yet.
