Lucy qualified as a children and young people’s nurse in 2007 with an undergraduate Master’s degree from the University of Nottingham. She worked the majority of her career at Oxford Childrens hospital team on the Childrens Oncology Unit and as part of the Senior nursing team on the Adolescent Unit. She has a passion for Adolescent nursing in particular.
Lucy joined the University of Northampton in 2022 as a Senior Lecturer. She is part of the Practice team and supports the planning and organisation of placement journeys for our CYP students. Lucy teaches all aspects of CYP Nursing but has a real passion for A&P, adolescence and Interprofessional working.
