James, aka Jim, has worked at the University of Northampton as a part time Photography Technical Demonstrator since 2008.
In the other half of his part time week he is a landscape photographer who graduated from the Royal College of Art in 2012, both ‘part times’ came together in 2017 when he was awarded the Portmanteau Artist residency by UON, please find this project under ‘commissions’ https://j-smith.co.uk/
Though perfectly content within his position at UON he has been visiting lecture to several universities including Bedfordshire, Brighton, Hertfordshire, Plymouth, Northampton, Solent, UEA Rochester and Westminster.
