Dani is a Member of the Institute of Biomedical Science and the IBMS liaison officer for the University. Dani completed her integrated MSci in Medicinal and Biological Chemistry at the University of Nottingham in 2014, before joining the NHS as a laboratory technician. She became a HCPC registered Biomedical Scientist in 2016 before completing a Specialist Diploma in Clinical Immunology in 2019. She was a Specialist Biomedical Scientist at Northampton General Hospital working as a multidisciplinary scientist between Clinical Biochemistry and Clinical Immunology, before joining the University of Northampton as a Senior Lecturer in 2022.

Dani also supervises undergraduate research module projects, as well as MSc student projects.
Dani’s research interests focus on the role of immune dysfunction & dysregulation in menstrual health and related gynaecological disorders. She has particular interest in the origins and pathophysiology on Endometriosis and the advancement of understanding its role in associated gynaecological cancers.
