Ciro Sun joined University of Northampton in 2023 as an associate lecturer in esports. He is currently the module leader of Business Success in the Global Esports Market.
Ciro is also a doctoral researcher in sport management at Loughborough University. His research interests lie in marketing, consumer behaviours, service quality, and crisis management in sport.
Before joining University of Northampton, Ciro held two key roles: he served as the Commercial Director at Fosun Sports Group and the China office of Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club, and he previously worked as a senior journalist at Lanxiong Sports.
Ciro holds MSc in Sport Management (Loughborough University), MSc in Management (Imperial College London), and BA in Editing and Publishing with New Media Concentration (Communication University of China).
