​​​​Chris is an Associate Lecturer in Sport and Exercise and has achieved the following academic qualifications:

  • ​PhD – The University of Northampton
  • MSc – University of Essex
  • BA (Hons) – The University of Northampton

Chris is a Member of Professional Bodies such as the British Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences (BASES).

Chris is an invited reviewer for the following journals: 

  • PLUS One 
  • Research in Sports Medicine

Research interests

The major focus of Dr Talbot’s research is in examining the effects of fatigue upon physiological and biomechanical responses during high intensity upper body exercise (arm crank ergometry).​
