Overview
This practical and engaging two-hour online CPD course introduces the essentials of qualitative research. Through a mix of presentation, interactive discussions, and practical exercises, attendees will be introduced to key qualitative methods, including interviews, focus groups and participatory approaches. We will cover common approaches to analysis, offering clear, hands-on guidance for working with qualitative data. Participants will also have the opportunity to design a focus group or interview schedule for a project of their choice as optional follow-up work, with personalised feedback from the course facilitators. No previous research experience is necessary – just bring your curiosity and ideas!
