Knowledge Exchange Framework

to increase effectiveness

The aim of the Knowledge Exchange Framework (KEF) is to increase efficiency and effectiveness in the use of public funding for knowledge exchange (KE) and to further a culture of continuous improvement in universities.  It allows universities to better understand and improve their own performance, as well as provide businesses and other users with more information to help them access the world-class knowledge and expertise embedded in English higher education providers.

The University of Northampton is engaging in the Knowledge Exchange Framework and the links below provide access to individual sections of the submission the University has made to outline the work it undertakes in this area:

  • Institutional Context
  • Local Growth and Regeneration
  • Public and Community Engagement

All the University of Northampton’s KE work is evaluated as part of our commitment to measuring and reporting our social impact and is underpinned by a theory of change which brings together all aspects of the university’s social impact.

For further information on the University’s submission, please contact Helen Miller, Head of Knowledge Exchange and Enterprise (helen.miller@northampton.ac.uk).
