Northampton Museum & Art gallery

This museum and Art gallery is home to one of the world’s largest collections of shoes with over 15,000 pairs! As well as this it is home to many different collections of art, and they even put on exclusive exhibitions. The museum offers free entry and provides insight into the town’s rich shoemaking heritage.

Delapré Abbey

Delapré Abbey is just a short walk away from the University and offers beautiful gardens and a lake which are perfect for a relaxing walk. As well as this, there is a café on the grounds if you are feeling like getting a bite to eat. Delapré Abbey is the perfect spot to relax and enjoy some nature.

Waterside Bar

On campus you will find the Waterside bar which offers a great range of budget friendly food and drinks as well as 10% discount for students. They also have a range of board games and evening entertainment such as quizzes and karaoke nights to keep you entertained on a budget.

Dominos

If you’re looking to stay in and have a relaxing evening, ordering a domino’s pizza is perfect! They offer deals and student discount most days of the week enabling you to relax and treat yourself whilst also not breaking the bank.

Bar Rumba

For a night out, Bar Rumba is the perfect place! The bar has free entry and special student drink deals meaning you can party the night away whilst still being on a budget.

Vue Cinema

The cinema located in Sol Central in town centre is perfect for those evenings you want to watch a film with friends and chill. With ticket prices starting at £8.99 you can go and watch your newly released films and get the cinema experience all for under £10!

With careful planning and making the most of student discounts, you can enjoy student life and Northampton on a budget of £10 or less.
