Managing your candidates’ bookings

How to register with us

If you want to set up a booking account, please complete our new account request form and send to trustbookings@northampton.ac.uk and we can create you a ‘booking account’ for you. Please note there can only be ONE email address per Trust/Agency account.

How to manage your candidates’ bookings

Once registered, your account will be created on the booking system. You will be able to see our availability of all the current exam dates, making it easier for you to navigate and book dates without the delays of email communications. You will also be able to edit candidate details and manage/cancel bookings all within our cancellation/refund guidelines.

How to pay for your candidates’ bookings

You can either pay by credit card or raise a Purchase Order. When submitting your PO onto your booking account, it must include every candidate’s PRN numbers and names. Once uploaded, our Operations Team will approve it and you will receive an automated email. All POs uploaded must match the balance you input. OSCEs are not subject to VAT.

How to change candidates’ bookings

It will be your responsibility to communicate any replacement of candidates directly to the candidate themselves and inform us via email trustbookings@northampton.ac.uk of your amendments.

  • How do I know that my candidates are eligible for an OSCE?

Your candidate is only eligible to sit an OSCE if they meet all criteria below:

    • They have received their ToC ‘invite to Test’ email approval from the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) that they are eligible to sit the OSCE, which includes their 10-digit PRN. For more information, see NMC’s Registration pages.
    • They know which pathway they are on.
You must book the correct field of practice, in line with your candidate’s application. For example, for an Adult (RNA) NMC application you will book an Adult OSCE 10 station exam.
    • They have a valid, current passport.
We will ask to see the candidate’s valid, current passport every time they sit an OSCE exam or resit, so please ensure that they bring it to their exam. If they don’t have a passport for any reason, please read the appropriate NMC Candidate Information Booklet for advice
    • The names on the candidate’s passport and their NMC application match the name you use to secure their OSCE booking.
If the name on the candidate’s passport is different from that on the email/letter from the NMC authorising them to take the test, they must provide original evidence that they are the person named in that email/letter.

    This may be:

    • Their marriage certificate
    • A declaration from the awarding body that granted their nursing or midwifery qualification, stating that both names relate to them
    What information do candidates receive?

Please visit Your OSCE test to read the information available to all candidates and share it with them during your candidate preparation.
