Once you graduate from the University of Northampton, our specialist careers team at the Changemaker Hub can provide you with the best, personalised guidance, for life!
We want to make sure you are on the right path to succeed once you finish your course with us. This means you will be able to access our Employability Hub online and make appointments with our Changemaker Careers Advisers for as long as you need to after you graduate.
Sometimes the most valuable advice can actually come from people who have walked in your shoes.
We have an Alumni E-Mentoring scheme that does just that. It puts you in touch with other University of Northampton graduates who in turn can offer a number of mentoring services. From CV advice to the possibility of job offers, sign up to become a mentor or a mentee.
If you and your friends from University are meeting up, let us know. Whether it’s out for lunch, a night on the town or a full-blown reunion, we’d love to support in any way we can. There may even be a little treat on the cards – get in touch.
We also offer daily content via our social media, with exclusive competitions and alumni news from all over the world. Our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages are a great way to find old friends and keep up to date with other Alumni and what they’ve been up to since graduation.
We’re always on the look-out for bloggers, vloggers and content creators who have graduated from UoN. If that’s you or one of your pals, we’d love to see some of your work, help promote your channels and even team up!
While you’re climbing your chosen career ladder, you might find that every now and then you need to access a few services from us to help get your foot in the door. Whether it’s proving you studied here or accessing evidence of your qualifications, we can help.
If you require a new copy of your official certificate or transcript, find out how you can obtain a new one.
Or maybe, you would like a certificate or document verified as authentic, you can e-mail our Verifications Team.
Often, you may only require verification that you studied here, or perhaps you are an employer looking to verify whether a candidate/employee studied here, in which case our Student Information Desk would be able to assist you.
The University is unable to provide personal/character references for previous students. We would recommend that if any of our graduates need character references, then they should connect with personal academic contacts who may have agreed to provide them with a reference.
And as ever, if you’re looking for support on finding a job, all our graduates get lifelong careers advice, you can find out more information on accessing that by getting in touch with our Employability Team.
If there’s anything else you need to help your career or anything you need from the University that isn’t covered here, get in touch with us, your Alumni Office.
