Dr David Cousens is the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Health, Sport and Behavioural Sciences. With 10 years of leadership experience in higher education, and over 20 years of experience in education overall, David brings a wealth of expertise to the role.
He is a qualified teacher and worked in schools as a teacher, Deputy and Head teacher. His career includes a range of senior leadership positions, reflecting a deep commitment to education and the advancement of education, health and wellbeing.
Research interests include student voice, professional identify and organisational culture within higher education.
