Digital Marketing Degree Apprenticeship Welcome Pack
Welcome to Digital Marketing Degree Apprenticeship (DMDA) – September 2026.
Welcome to the Digital Marketing Degree Apprenticeship (DMDA) at the University of Northampton!
We’re delighted you’ve chosen to join us. Over the next three years, you’ll combine the best of both worlds: developing your career in the workplace while studying for a degree that is directly relevant to the challenges and opportunities you’ll face every day.
This isn’t a course where you’ll simply learn about digital marketing – you’ll apply it. From your very first semester, you’ll work on projects that can be applied to your workplace, tackle real business challenges, and develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours expected of today’s digital marketing professionals. Along the way you’ll build expertise in areas such as content creation, digital strategy, analytics, customer experience, communication, teamwork and emerging technologies, while developing the confidence to make a meaningful impact within your organisation.
You’ll be supported by an experienced team of academics who understand both higher education and industry, alongside your employer and workplace mentor. We encourage active learning, collaboration and reflection, giving you plenty of opportunities to share experiences with apprentices from different organisations and sectors.
During your first few weeks you’ll meet your Personal Academic Tutor, get to know your fellow apprentices, become familiar with our learning platforms and start connecting your academic learning to your role at work. You’ll also begin building the evidence and professional portfolio that will demonstrate your growth throughout the apprenticeship.
We look forward to working with you as you develop into a confident, ethical and commercially aware digital marketing professional.
