Business Analytics and AI (Top-Up) BSc Welcome Pack

Welcome to BSc Business Analytics and AI (Top-Up) – September 2026.

Welcome to the BSc (Hons) Business Analytics & AI Top-Up programme. I am delighted that you have chosen to join us, and I look forward to supporting you throughout what promises to be an exciting and rewarding academic journey.

This course has been designed to prepare you for the rapidly evolving world of business, data, and Artificial Intelligence. Throughout your studies, you will explore how organisations use data, analytics, automation, and AI technologies to improve decision-making, drive innovation, and gain competitive advantage. You will develop the knowledge and practical skills needed to analyse complex business problems, generate data-driven insights, and evaluate the strategic impact of emerging technologies.

Learning on this programme is highly applied and practice-focused. You will engage with real-world business scenarios, case studies, practical activities, and collaborative projects that reflect contemporary organisational challenges. You will also develop skills in data analysis, forecasting, data visualisation, business automation, and responsible AI implementation.

The programme combines interactive workshops, seminars, guided independent study, and group activities. Assessments are authentic and professionally relevant, enabling you to demonstrate your learning through assignments, projects, presentations, and practical tasks.

During your first week, you will meet the programme team, your fellow students, and your Personal Academic Tutor (PAT), who will support you throughout your studies. The first few weeks are designed to help you settle into university life and develop the academic, digital, and professional skills needed for success.

We look forward to working with you as you develop into a confident, analytical, and future-ready graduate. Welcome to the programme, and I wish you every success in your studies.
