Digital Marketing MSc Welcome Pack
Welcome to MSc Digital Marketing 2025.
Guided by your experienced tutors, you will be exploring the exciting and dynamic world of digital marketing. You will investigate the debates around the Virtual Reality, the Metaverse, Artificial Intelligence, Digital Transformation and Digital skills that are framing the world around us. You will also develop your understanding of marketing, grow your social media skills and use industry data to analyse and interpret the world you work in on this digital marketing Master’s.
You may already have a business background to build upon, or perhaps you are continuing from your first degree and preparing for your career in marketing. Either way you will have the chance to discover marketing concepts and apply your learning and skills with practical industry projects and creative digital tasks.
You’ll explore topics including digital diversity, e-commerce, data insights and analytics, the customer experience, social media marketing, marketing ethics, sustainability, and futurology. You will also have the chance to access Digital Marketing Institute (DMI) resources.

Don’t miss the fun of the fair! Music, games, sweet treats and more (including prizes to be won). Join our business and law student and staff community for an afternoon of fun, friendship and first-year festivities. No need to book, just turn up!

Enhancing skills, building networks and engaging in the wider University community
During your course you will have the opportunity to take part in various live client and networking activities. In the past 12 months students have worked on a live client brief for Nestle; presented to the senior leaders at Market Harborough Building Society as part of the summer challenge (this included a visit to the company’s head office); received several guest speaker talks including from alumni; there are also many opportunities to gain marketing experience both within the university and with local employers.
