Music Production BA Welcome Pack

Welcome to BA Music Production 2025.

Welcome to the Music Production degree at UON. We’re glad you’ve joined us and look forward to creating with you.

During these three years you’ll be broadening your technical and creative skillset in studio engineering, music production, sound design and foley, composing for media, AI, synthesis and sampling, acoustics and psychoacoustics, immersive and responsive sound to image, and you’ll also be developing your academic prowess.

There will be opportunities to collaborate with Popular Music, Games Design and Media students, and opportunites to work and/or volunteer in a range of professional situations. We encourage you to be motivated and reach beyond the mere study and engage with our network of dedicated professionals.

At the end of the degree, you’ll have a breadth of skills, knowledge and experience, and a portfolio of work that will help ready you for a career in the creative industries and/or further study.
