Podiatry BSc Welcome Pack
Welcome to BSc Podiatry 2025.
We are pleased to welcome you to our BSc (Hons) Podiatry course and look forward to supporting you as you begin your journey toward a rewarding career in Podiatric Medicine. This programme is designed to equip you with the clinical knowledge, professional skills, and experience required to practise confidently across NHS, community, and private healthcare settings both within the UK and internationally.
Our Podiatry course is designed to produce graduates who are prepared to excel within the modern healthcare environment and contribute to the ongoing evolution of the Podiatry profession. The course will develop specialist skills in lower limb management; including sports injury and rehabilitation, paediatric care, diabetic and high-risk podiatry and minor surgical procedures such as nail removal; providing a strong foundation for progression into a variety of career pathways and clinical specialisms.
Throughout our course, you will benefit from a wide range of clinical experiences and placements, both internally and externally, as part of your clinical studies modules. You will also develop your practical skills within our fully operational University run Podiatry Clinic, located on the grounds of Northampton General Hospital. The clinic is equipped with the latest technology and equipment. For further information about the course, including a virtual tour of our Podiatry Clinic, please visit our Podiatry page.
