Master of Business Administration MBA Welcome Pack
Welcome to MBA (Placement and Non-placement) – September 2026.
A very warm welcome to the MBA course.
Studying the MBA at the University of Northampton will challenge you to think differently about leadership, strategy, innovation, and the way organisations operate in an increasingly complex global environment. Throughout the course, we encourage students to draw upon both contemporary business theory and their own professional experiences to explore real organisational challenges and opportunities.
You can expect a highly applied and interactive learning experience, where discussion, collaboration, critical thinking, and practical problem-solving are central to the course. The MBA is designed to help you strengthen your strategic decision-making, leadership confidence, commercial awareness, and ability to manage change within a range of organisational settings.
The course provides opportunities to engage with current business themes such as sustainability, digital transformation, project management, innovation, entrepreneurship, and the growing influence of AI within organisations. You will also develop valuable research, analytical, and communication skills that support both professional progression and personal development.
Whether you are looking to progress within your current organisation, change career direction, or develop as a more reflective and capable leader, the MBA is intended to provide a supportive but intellectually challenging environment that helps you achieve those ambitions.
